Abstract




The complexity of all human life and also its derivatives such as politics, economy, innovation and society is in its good part, in urban areas, and according to the survey by the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, Census 2010) more of 84% of the population live in cities. This process of urbanization leads to a mass consumption of natural resources such as food, but also for power generation.

For all the complexity of an urban center can flow is necessary that the resources used can meet all needs. And the electricity is of vital importance to the proper functioning of the city.

The purpose of this study is to simulate how a city would prepare for a scenario where the energy generated was not enough that the services functioned properly. In the end, this whole process will serve to alert us to a possible failure in an electrical system and the importance of energy saving and the complexity of an electrical network.
